It was a different game and the best parts about cuisine got changed. I tried CRSED on day 1 and forced myself to try and like it for another week. Once you discovered movement tech with the vertical and horizontal jump sigils, being granted true movement beyond the vanilla boots-on-the-ground BR experience truly opened the game up for more involved/flashy play styles that could’ve attracted an interested playerbase had they learned into some of the things that made them stand out from the pack. It was unique, it had its own charm, and the gun play + weapon balance combo felt way more stable than it was probably intended to. Absolutely grinded Cuisine to the point of an addiction. No abilities, no battle pass, no heroes, none of it. Give me the exact game from 2018, with the Mexico map, the refined gunplay, and thats it. I'd gladly shell out $50+ to play it again, I don't even care. Hell, literally make it a separate release from C.U.R.S.E.D., just like Enlisted. If a developer sees this, I am begging you. I played, and once even loaded into a server with only ONE other enemy!Īnd now, I'll probably never experience that game again.
